Justino Aguila is a writer, critic, and editor specializing in profiles, features, and breaking arts & entertainment news. Bylines include Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, L.A. Times, and Netflix Queue, among others. The East L.A. native has also produced entertainment news for TV and provided Latin music commentary for NPR affiliate КРСС 89.3 FM. A graduate of Columbia University’s Journalism School, Justino is based on the West Coast and is currently writing a book.
Community
Justino places a high value on public speaking, mentoring, raising scholarship funds and volunteering through non-profit groups serving underrepresented journalists, including college students pursuing journalism.
